To test the waters of kayak fishing, our first selection was the Hobie Mirage Compass. As an avid kayak fisherman, it didn’t take much research to see that this pedal drive yak was one of the most anticipated steeds of the year. Hunting bucket-list fishing trips into the wee hours of the night leads to interesting finds. This one struck me and I knew it had to be shared. Within an hour of reading, I was on the phone with the man himself, Adam Fisk of Los Buzos Resort in Panama, reminiscing the recent bout with this once-in-a-lifetime fish.
Tapping into a new audience
Kayak Fishing? Fly Fishing? Kayak Fly Fishing? It’s a thing and we’re well versed. By providing in-depth answers to the fly-fishing community, Men’s Journal grew it’s authority in covering a diverse set of fishing topics. For this project, our focus was to script, produce, copywrite and edit a content piece to provide tips to affishionados.
